General Shipping & Delivery Information

For the UK we offer free shipping on all orders when you spend over £75 and free returns on all orders, which includes the Highlands and Islands. Shipping costs within the UK are just £6 for all orders under £75.


We offer UK Mainland next day delivery on all orders placed before 2pm on a working day and express courier delivery as standard on all International orders.


Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday will normally be delivered the next day.


Orders placed after 2pm on Thursday, but before 2pm on a Friday will normally be delivered on the following Monday.


Orders placed on a Friday after 2pm, Saturday or Sunday will normally be delivered the following Tuesday.


Orders placed on a public holiday will normally be processed on the next working day and delivered on the following working day. Please note this only applies to England, Scotland & Wales, excluding the Highlands and Islands.


Orders are not shipped on Saturdays or Sundays. Weekends and public holidays are not considered working days.


We do not offer delivery on weekends or public holidays at this time.


Please note that all shipping times are estimates only, while we do our very best to achieve these times for the vast majority of our deliveries, please allow an additional 1-2 working days for your delivery to arrive especially during busy times such as sales periods and the run up to the Christmas holidays. Shipping times may also vary subject to each country’s national and public holidays.


We will inform you if we are experiencing any delays or are unable to fulfill your order for any reason.

When placing your order you will have the option to specify whether you want your order delivered to your home address or an alternative address, such as your work address, if that is more convenient. Once parcels have been dispatched we are unable to change the address you have specified.


We are unable to deliver to PO boxes. Delivery to hotel addresses will be at your own risk. Please be sure to state your room number and the dates of your stay.


International delivery times may vary, particularly if shipments are subject to customs and duty procedures beyond our control. Customs and import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel and are completely outside of our control.


UK VAT will automatically be deducted from merchandise shipped to non-EU countries.


The shipping costs listed above are based on orders up to a total weight of 5kg. For all destinations, orders above this weight an additional surcharge may apply, but we will contact you before we dispatch your order to advise about this.


We ship all UK orders via Interlink/DPD on a fully trackable service that requires a signature on delivery.


We also ship orders via Interlink/DPD to most countries in Europe and DHL to all other European countries and to the rest of the world. All international orders are shipped via fully trackable courier service and require a signature on delivery.


For orders sent via Interlink/DPD within the UK, you will be sent a confirmation email and/or text message once your order has been shipped. You will receive a second email and/or text message on the day your order is due to be delivered and you will given a one hour delivery time slot for the delivery or the option to reschedule your delivery or have your parcel delivered to a neighbour if you are not going to be in. Both emails will give you the option to track your order. Interlink/DPD usually deliver between the hours of 8am and 7pm.


The classic printed Calmia gift certificates will also be sent out via Interlink/DPD or DHL on a fully trackable service and will require a signature on delivery.


Please note that, if ordering from Russia, DHL are currently restricted to only being able to deliver to a registered business address at this time and due to strict custom clearance procedures with Russian imports, please allow up to 28 days for delivery.

Stock Availability

The available stock for every item on our website should be showing once we get down to our last 5 items in stock so that you know if something is almost sold out. Our stock should always be live, but sometimes an item can sell out very quickly. In the unlikely event that you have purchased an item that we don’t have in stock we will let you know as soon as possible and will either offer you an alternative or advise when the item will be back in stock. We will do our very best to get you what you have ordered as soon as possible and let you know when that will be or offer you a full refund.


If you have ordered more than one item and one or more of the items you have ordered is out of stock we will ask you if you want us to ship the item(s) we do have in stock straightaway and ship the items that you are waiting for when they come back into stock. Alternatively, we can hold the whole order and ship everything together once we have everything in stock, but you will be able to decide what you would like to do if that happens. Please bear in mind that there may be additional shipping costs to pay if an order is sent in more than one shipment.

Tracking your order

You will receive an email confirmation on receipt of your order. Please keep this on file for your records.


All of our deliveries require a signature on arrival and can be tracked using the tracking information sent with your shipping confirmation. You can also follow the progress of your delivery via your Account page here.


Alternatively you can track your order by following the link: www.dpd.co.uk and entering your order number in the “Tracking” box on this website page and clicking “Track”.

Foreign Taxes and Duties

International deliveries outside the UK may be subject to customs clearance charges. These charges can include import duty, handling fees, local taxes and other costs.


For all orders shipped outside of the UK all sales taxes and duty charges are the responsibility of and payable by the recipient of the order.


We are unable to calculate local customs and sales tax or other levies on orders outside of the UK as customs policies and import duties vary from country to country. You will be notified by your local customs authority once your order has reached your country. They will then accurately calculate the total amount of customs and/or sales tax or other levies which you will need to pay before the order can be released and delivered to your address. We advise you to contact your local customs office to find out what these charges are before you place your order.


Calmia is not responsible for these costs or for any delays caused by Customs or other government authorities. Failure to pay these charges will mean that your order will be returned to the UK. In the event that this happens we would not be able to refund your shipping charges or any other costs that you may incur in having the goods returned to us. If the cost of returning the order is more than the value of the order then we would not be liable to refund you the cost of the order. However if the cost of returning the order is less than the value of the order we will refund the difference between the value of the order and the costs associated with its return.
