Back when I was magazine editor I was working long, intense weeks. I might have been writing about subjects I loved – health and exercise trends or new beauty products, jetting off for exotic spa photo shoots, interviewing celebrities – but my working week was so hectic and demanding I rarely had time to realize just how amazing my job was or to enjoy the benefits of everything that was available to me. The irony of this situation was not lost on me. The Workout for People Who Don't Have Time to Workout

I’m not a big fan of exercise classes. After teaching them for years, I’m always re-choreographing the routine, second-guessing the next move or yearning for a cooler playlist. These days, I’m more of a solitary exerciser when it comes to cardio. Turn up, train hard, shower, go – is my gym mantra.
